The islands are distinctively unique from each other, Christmas Island is an extinct volcano with an 80km coast line rising up to 361m above sea level and the Cocos Islands are made up of a combination of 27 smaller islands, forming a U shaped coral atoll. Apart from the general appearance of each, the constant 27º-30ºC days offer holiday makers the tropical island holiday experience of a life time. Christmas Island
Christmas Island is most commonly known for the annual Red Crab Migration and the spawning of these land crabs after the first rains. Whale Sharks also appear at this time feeding on plankton and the Baby Red Crab larvae. The island is also World Heritage Listed for its Fresh Water Mangrove Swamp and has an amazing 35 Endemic Species. Bird Watching and Private Bird Tours are a common interest for visitors, with many different types of Nature Walks and Adventure Tours to choose from, no wonder Christmas Island is known as the Galapagos of the Indian Ocean and a Natural Wonder of the World. Cocos Islands
The Cocos Islands offer a secluded and relaxing holiday destination with palm fringed white sandy beaches to explore.
