Enjoy the sights of Cocos Island on an air conditioned bus while listening to commentary about the history and culture of Cocos Islands. Sights visited include the Quarantine Station, Pulu Maraya, Trannies beach, Scout Park, The Spot, Surf Shack, Government House and other local clubs and activity locations.

TopKebudayaan Kokos Tour

Wednesday 12.00pm to 2.20pm

Ferry departs at 11.15am to Home Island and returns at 2.30pm **

Home Island Cultural Tour comprises of participants being involved in a cultural activity such as making coconut palm frond baskets, husking coconuts, making traditional foods and some sight seeing hosted by the community elders and tourism officer.

TopHome Island Cultural Tour

Wednesdays 08.00am to 10.30am

Ferry departs from West Island at 07.30am to Home Island and returns at 10.45am **

Observe the different culture activites, along with visiiting historical significant sights on Home Island. In the first hour of the tour, the school kids give commentary either on the school bus or in a walking group. With the walking group the kids show and tell participants about the different trees that they use in their daily cooking as well as about the jukong(fishing boats) and housing etc. While on the school bus they show and tell visitors of the historical significance of the locations on Home Island. Upon reaching one of the local houses on Home Island a community elder tells visitors about how Cocos was established along with other facts of interest.

TopGlass Bottom Boat Tour

Join Geoff on his glass bottom boat as he guides you on a full day tour of the lagoon including Direction Island and Prison Island. If you have particular requirements speak to Geoff and he can tailor the day, either fish, snorkel or just view the wonders of the marine life underwater through the glass bottom boat.
